The 'Anasa Guest House' is a small family business which has been run in Zagora Pelion since 1980. It was built in 1980 according to the town planning regulation at the time. It consist of ten rooms, some of which were renovated in 2000. The rooms are always clean and well looked after.

The Anasa Guest House is a small family business which has been run in Zagora Pelion since 1980. Situated in the last and quietest area of Zagora, known as Metamorfosi, Anasa Guest House is a very comfortable place to spend your holiday. It is 7 km away from the beach in Horefto.
Anasa Guest House consists of ten double rooms, some of which were renovated in 2000.
All the rooms have balconies with views of the Aegean Sea, the mountain, the Sporade islands and Chalkidiki.
Daily cleaning and tidying of rooms. Change of linen every 2 or 3 days.
Overlooking the Aegean Sea, Zagora is Pelion's largest village with a population of 3,000 inhabitants. Byzantine texts refer to the entire region of Pelion as Zagora.
Ideally positioned for visiting the stunning beaches close by, this pretty village offers a small selection of taverns and bars around the village square.
If you can take your eyes off the fantastic view of the Aegean, pay a visit to the famous school where many of the spiritual fathers of the Greek Revolution studied, the historic library with rare books and manuscripts, and the Byzantine churches of Aghios Georgios and Aghia Kiriaki, which contain richly carved icon screens.
You would be fortunate indeed if you happened upon a traditional Pelion wedding celebrated in one of them.
You can get to Volos by every and any means of transport, car, bus, train, boat, and even charter flights to the Airport in Nea Anchialos which is not far from Volos.
Zagora is 47 km from Volos about 1 hour by car and 1.5 hours by bus.
Athens - Volos: 330 km, 5 hours by train.
Thessaloniki - Volos: 230 km, 2.5 hours by train.
Skiathos - Volos: 90 minutes by Flying Dolphin.
Thessaloniki - Volos: 150 minutes by Flying Dolphin.
